Job description
Adoption of the Tax policy of Group Companies in KZ and development of proposals in accordance with the new requirements of the tax legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and structure of the Tax policy of Group Companies in KZ.
Tax planning and optimization, forecast of taxes (CIT, VAT, WHT, local taxes/mandatory payments, payroll taxes).
Timely information management about existing tax risks or potential tax risks.
Update of the Group Company’s tax policy in accordance with the requirements of tax legislation.
Organization of the company’s tax accounting (ensure accuracy and completeness and transparency of calculation and reporting, ensure timely tax payments and other mandatory payments to the budget)
Preparation of tax reports (all forms), statistical reporting and reporting to the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Review and verification / correction of contracts, acts of completed works, ESF, Manual and procedures and develop recommendation to ensure compliance to local law.
Provide all forms consultation of tax issues for employees of other departments of the company.
Working with tax authorities, conducting all types of tax audits: provide of documents/registers/calculations, preparation of responses to notifications/requests from tax authorities, discussion of tax issues.
Timely preparation of tax forms/disclosure, tax registers for taxable objects and calculation taxes.
Timely preparation of responses to notifications, notices and decisions on the fulfillment of tax obligations, responses to requests from tax authorities, the formation of requests to the relevant authorities on controversial tax issues.
Participation in the work on conducting an external tax audit and an audit of financial statements on tax issues.
Timely and high-quality provision of local transaction monitoring reports.
Development, approval and completion of proposals to minimize the tax burden of the company within the framework of the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Monthly reconciliation of the tax balance with governmental data and accounting, regular monitoring of reconciliation tax reporting and accounting.
Participation in the company’s projects affecting tax accounting, including automation of accounting and tax accounting, reporting to state authorities.
Constant monitoring of legislation and regulations effect to taxation of Company, as well as protection of the rights and interests of the company in state bodies.
Monthly monitoring accounting for tax calculation, participation in the closing of the period and verification of accounting data, primary documentation complies with requirements of tax legislation.
Qualification
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting and audit is a min. Master’s degree is preferable
Language skills: Russian, Kazakh are mandatory, English is advantageous
Professional experience: Work experience on a similar site for at least 5 years
Knowledge of the Tax legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Accounting and tax accounting.
Excellent knowledge of 1C and Excel programs (advanced level), taxpayer’s office, SONO, ESF, stat.gov, National bank reporting.
Analytical mindset, ability to work with large amounts of information.
