Andersen is hiring a Python Developer to support a major trading platform by testing a redesigned website and new web/mobile features, ensuring quality, stability, and smooth ongoing development.

The customer is a global trading services provider offering access to a broad range of financial instruments through proprietary web and mobile platforms. Operating across numerous international markets under multiple regulatory licences, the organization is recognized for its focus on technological innovation, client support, and educational initiatives within the online trading industry.

The project is focused on redesigning the client’s website and then implementing new features and enhancements across both web and mobile applications. It also involves strengthening the client-side teams to support ongoing development and ensure a smooth rollout of the updated digital experience.

Responsibilities:

• Participating in the design and architecture of Python-based software solutions.
• Designing, developing, and maintaining highly complex Python-based software solutions.
• Writing clean, reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and release new features.
• Mentoring and providing guidance to junior developers.
• Conducting code reviews to ensure code quality and functional accuracy.
• Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Performing debugging, troubleshooting, modifications, and unit testing.
• Staying abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies to keep applications current and competitive.
• Providing functional and technical specifications for software.

Must-haves:

• Experience as a Python Developer for 4+ years.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and database design.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Tornado, or Flask.
• Experience with unit testing.
• Experience working in a CI/CD environment.
• Level of English – from Intermediate + and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• ORM experience with SqlAlchemy, Entity Framework, or Hybernate would be considered an advantage.
• Experience with React, JavaScript (JS), and TypeScript (TS).
