About the Role
PayFac Certification Program Manager will be a member of the Payfac Partnership team within Merchant Sales & Acquiring (MS&A) CEMEA. This group is responsible for accelerating partnership agenda with non-Fi clients crafting commercial opportunities to sell in Visa Products and solutions, as well as ensure foundational excellence in regard to Visa’s Rules and Policies.
Role Scope and responsibilities:
- Program Management: Oversee the certification process for Payment Facilitators (PF) in the CEMEA region, ensuring projects are well-managed and stakeholders are effectively communicated with.
- Risk Mitigation: Facilitate discussions and actions related to risk management, working closely with Risk Managers and Compliance teams to ensure PFs' risk management capabilities are adequately addressed in the certification process.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between PFs, internal teams, and third-party stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and understanding of certification requirements.
- Remediation Guidance: Collaborate with internal teams to review certification packages for completeness and compliance, providing guidance to PFs on necessary remediation actions.
- Contract Administration: Handle the contracting process and oversee invoicing related to the certification program, ensuring all necessary agreements and legal documents are in place.
- Experience: at least 1 year in program management, ideally in the payment industry or high-volume process management.
- Risk Management: Understanding of risk management principles and their business application.
- Skills:
- Communication & Organization: Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Project & Contract Management: Proven project management, influencing, and negotiation skills; experience in managing contracts and invoicing with Payfacs.
- Problem-Solving: Results-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and urgency.
- Technical Familiarity: Knowledge of payment systems and certifications is beneficial.
Work Format: This position is a hybrid work model on a contract basis.
