We are looking for a qualified Logistic Manager to oversee all logistic operations in our recently opened CIS market subsidiary and ensure they’re aligned with business goals, being a key partner to line management and providing support to employees of the Market.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director of the CIS market subsidiary and functionally to the Head of Supply Chain Europe, the Logistic Manager will be responsible for the smooth execution of logistics flows, ensuring efficient import processes and operations for CIS markets in line with global legal priorities and business strategy.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

1. Order Management
   Organizing a continuous cycle of goods deliveries from suppliers to customer retail locations/warehouses in alignment with business and legal requirements:

• Providing administration of the goods (sales items and merchandising materials) and customer databases
• Preparing order forms
• Client order administration
• Interacting with suppliers on completing customer orders
• Tracking customer order payments
• Organizing the process of international order shipment, including express delivery
• Arranging customs clearance, compliance control of declared information with legislation for Kazakhstan shipments
• Ensuring and organizing work on acceptance, labeling, and stocking of goods
• Arranging preparation of orders for shipment
• Interacting with customers and suppliers on shipping documentation
• Arranging transportation of goods to customers
• Organizing the process of goods export
• Monitoring timeliness and correctness of receiving invoices from suppliers, as well as their payment

1. Stock Replenishment Planning

• Working closely with sales & marketing teams for replenishment strategies of retail locations
• Reviewing historical sales trends in order to prepare & develop statistical forecasts
• Determining goods and replenishment quantities based on demand forecasting/data analysis

1. Other Responsibilities

• Budget calculation and control of its fulfillment
• Analyzing processes and costs, selecting and developing the optimal delivery scheme
• Controlling the fulfillment of KPIs at each stage of the process
• Preparing and analyzing statistical data
• Cooperating with various departments within the company

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

• 3+ years of professional experience in logistics in an international company (retail, FMCG, pharma, alcohol & beverages)
• Higher education, preferably in logistics or another technical domain
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Russian and English; French would be a nice to have
• Knowledge and expertise in different logistics fields: administration of CIS orders, import experience, customs clearance, customs clearance through broker/provider (process organization)
• Thorough knowledge of Excel, proficient ERP systems user
• Experience in building processes from scratch, developing, and executing distribution strategies is an asset
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills, ability to manage complex supply chain operations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly in cross-functional teams
• Comfortable working in a complex and rapidly changing environment with multitasking and ambiguity
• High level of self-management, strong planning, and organizational skills
