A vacancy for the position of Lead of Product Management is open at an international agricultural company operating in Central Asia.

This position, based in Almaty or Astana.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and manage product performance trials to determine the added value of new varieties

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative evaluations of trials, including data collection, analysis, and reporting

• Lead, empower, and develop the team to ensure optimal sales and customer support

• Ensure effective portfolio management and technical support across all crops

• Drive the development and management of cross-crop tools and services

• Deliver content to the marketing department for tool promotion and marketing materials

• Provide regular trainings for the technical education of the sales team

• Oversee product management functions, including testing, trialing, portfolio steering, and registration

• Optimize product and service offers to deliver maximum value to customers

• Maintain relations and coordinate with international Product Managers, breeders, and local teams to support business activities

• Organizing product trainings for the key customers and business partners / distributors

Requirements:

• University degree in agriculture and/or management/marketing, or a related field

• Knowledge of the seed industry or, alternatively experience in fertilizers or crop protection

• Proven experience in leading a team

• Proven management, marketing & sales skills (tools, strategies, techniques)

• Pioneering mentality with a proactive and result-oriented approach • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data
