The IT company Andersen invites an experienced Frontend Developer (React) to work on a large-scale project for our Swiss partner.

The customer is one of the leading e-commerce companies in Switzerland with a turnover of more than €60 million. The company's focus is on underdeveloped special interest markets in which it can quickly gain a leading market position. Furthermore, it supports each shop in recruiting, accounting and fundraising.

The project is addressing the monolithic ERP system’s issues—slow development, missed timelines, complex German codebase, and poor user experience—by transitioning to a microservice architecture with a common database, and eventually to a database per microservice. This will speed up feature deployment, improve onboarding for English-speaking developers, and facilitate new online shop integration, with an expected 25% annual revenue growth. Initially, the focus will be on improving handheld processes and developing new shops.

Responsibilities:

• Working in a cross-functional team and finding solutions together with the team members.
• Working using agile methodologies.
• Building, maintaining, and improving highly scalable applications to fuel our continuous growth.
• Reviewing code changes.
• Enhancing applications by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations, designing, and implementing systems.
• Implementing product requirements.
• Writing highly testable code.
• Mentoring and coaching junior engineers.
• Communicating directly with the product owner and other engineers.
• Documenting and discussing approaches and taking decisions.

Must-haves:

• Experience as a React Developer for 5+ years.
• Proficiency in React & Typescript.
• Proficiency in Spring framework, Unite tests, E2E tests, Software Testing(TDD).
• Proficiency in writing automation tests.
• Experience with API (including contracts; REST).
• Experience with source version control (Git).
• Experience in working in an agile environment and with distributed systems.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with developing CI/CD pipelines
• Level of German – Intermediate and above.
