In this role, you will plan, execute and integrate a range of communications and government affairs’ activities to deliver on Mondelez International’s strategic goals and drive brand identity communication. You will work across functions with colleagues from Sales, Marketing, Finance and other areas to develop, to implement and to drive Mondelez CGA (Corporate and Government Affairs ) strategy.
You will report to CGA Manager Türkiye and Eurasia and will be based in Almaty office. In this role you work across a variety of communication disciplines and subject areas and communicate regularly with audiences both internally and externally. You will also plan and execute Public and Government Affairs Strategy and activities to advocate for Mondelēz International’s interests and coordinate a range of related transactions or communications with the public and government officials.
How you will contribute
You will:

You will design and deliver outstanding media relations, government affairs, and internal communications and community engagement campaigns across markets. This role will require you to think globally and collaborate with colleagues from around the world to share best practices. You will also promote the latest innovations and investments in the market to keep our people engaged in the transformation and to partner with government officials so we can make changes to our operating model and ways of working. In addition to these contributions, you will manage all aspects of communications channels; nurture relationships with Tier 1 corporate media; drive news coverage that promotes Mondelēz International; support local leadership and their teams, stakeholders and other functions internal communications activities, and ensure that activities are delivered within budget.

External Communications
- Building a positive image of the company in media; prepare press-releases & interviews, comments, monitor news related to business and informing the management team of urgent/important news;
- Being a key stakeholder to the local marketing team, working closely along Marketing to align on communications activities and specific marketing to customers. Ensuring PR support to marketing activities (e.g. brand PR, new product launches, product campaigns, in-store activations, etc) by managing an array of media, KOL’s and PR-agencies;
- Supporting with Special Situation Management;
- Supporting CSR projects: charity & donations, volunteering, Mindful Snacking;
- Working closely with People Team on Employer Brand.
- Lead agencies’ network to develop plans and materials in alignment with the communication strategy
- Lease with communication professionals in implementation of communication activities.

Government Affairs
- Mapping Stakeholders and build effective stakeholder relations on the ground;
- Monitoring regulatory risks and ensure immediate reporting of any changes;
- Representing legitimate Company interests in relevant NGO’s, Trade Associations and Government bodies;
- Preparing analytical materials and reports on key regulatory issues.

Internal Communications
- Planning and executing effective internal communication to keep employees aware of company business priorities and ensure team engagement (town halls, events, internal newsletter);
- Providing support to functions (HR, Legal, Finance, etc) helping them to communicate effectively of their projects and initiatives to all employees.
What you will bring
A desire to lead the future for our company and accelerate you career with experience and knowledge in:
- Communications, including experience in government affairs and issues management, preferably in a large, matrix multinational
- Understanding local media landscape, the political context at local level, including regulatory & political processes
- At least 5 years of relevant Communications & Public Affairs experience
- Time management priority setting and attention to detail
- Proactive team player able to execute in a complex matrix environment
- Written and spoken communication skills
- Results orientation and a hands-on mentality
- Working under pressure in a collaborative setting
- Dealing with ambiguity and change agility
