Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
The KZ Supply Chain Manager is responsible and accountable for the overall management of Kazakhstan Distribution Center (DC) and along with the inbound process. The responsibilities include but are not limited to forecasting, capacity planning”, supporting 3PL partners across all relevant operations (Inbound, Pick & Pack, Outbound, Returns, Special Handling, Store Openings, etc.), inventory Management and owning the logistics budget across all channels in line with adidas SLAs. The SCM Manager leads the team to ensure a smooth, transparent, and robust connection between all relevant stakeholders from inside and outside of the organization regarding work- and information flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Inbound DC & Outbound operations via management of the existing 3rd Party Logistics Provider (3PL); people management by setting challenging objectives and targets with longer term impact to the team and business stakeholders. Maintain existing warehousing and transportation contracts, negotiate new and renewals with service providers in coordination with Global Logistics, Global Procurement, Finance and NTP
- Responsible to align Inbound, Outbound & Return Forecasts with business and stakeholders, translate these into an execution plan, track and monitor accuracy and analyze trends.
- In close cooperation with 3PL, plan and align the warehouse capacity for outbound & returns.
- Own the planning, monitoring and management of Logistics budget related with DC, outbound, packaging material topics / operations. Create and maintain yearly budgets and monthly reports to senior management.
- Own the planning and monitoring of campaigns and events (especially Cyber Planning & Holiday Readiness) and Store Openings.
- Ensure a meaningful and robust daily monitoring and audit of the order flow. Follow up on fulfilment requests, complains and incidents. Provide feedback to stakeholder and requestors in a detailed and timely manner.
- Own inventory management to improve stock accuracy. Monitor cycle counting activities, perform inventory reconciliation between physical quantities, WMS and AFS and ensure stock adjustments timely done with required approvals documented covering B2B, B2C and eCom. Provide visibility on overall inventory on-hand to all channels, drive free and old season stocks’ clearance initiatives.
- Own SLA management creating and analyzing appropriate operational and management reports and dashboards for assigned business and operations processes. Drive root cause analysis with 3PLs, IT and business. Closely follow up on enhancements and drive SLA Achievements.
- Contribute to Supply Chain related projects by owning, managing, or supporting workstreams. Apply structured project management approach to secure progress and benefits, on time and in budget. Focus on continuous Improvement to develop and improve processes to achieve high service levels, increased productivity and improved customers’ satisfaction.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Experienced in logistics and supply chain management as well as project management
- Competence, experienced and high level of IT affinity (MS Office/Teams needed / SAP, WMS knowledge is a plus )
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to lead and influence discussions in diverse groups of varying size (internal & external)
- English speaking and writing.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in Business Management or equal education within logistics or Industrial Engineering
- Min. 7 years working experience; thereof 3 years of people leadership
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications, ERP/SAP, WMS
- Background in 3rd Party Logistics companies
