We are seeking a Security Operations Center (SOC) Consultant to join our team at KPMG. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with expertise in SOC operations, cybersecurity assessments, and strategic implementation.
As our Security Operations Center (SOC) Consultant you will:
- Conduct security and gap analysis reviews based on leading industry standards such as NIST CSF and ISO 27001.
- Perform and assist a variety of cybersecurity assessments, including regulatory reviews, business impact analyses, and business continuity assessments.
- Provide authoritative technical expertise to mature SOC services and capabilities.
- Implement and manage SIEM solutions to enhance threat detection and response capabilities.
You’re the perfect match for this role if you:
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Have at least 3+ years of relevant work experience, including time in a SOC environment.
- Are fluent in Russian and possess at least Intermediate-level proficiency in both Kazakh and English.
- Possess an advanced understanding of information security principles, controls, and technologies.
- Are familiar with IT General Controls and controls-based audits such as NIST CSF and ISO 27001.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hold certifications such as IBM Certified SOC Analyst - IBM QRadar, Palo Alto Networks Certified Cybersecurity Technician, OSCA, or EC-Council Certified SOC Analyst.
- Have expertise in implementing and managing SIEM solutions.
- Possess strong knowledge of network security architecture, including topology, protocols, components, and principles.
