Our factory in Kazakhstan is part of the Amcor Specialty Cartons business group and plays a key role in the European cluster. We specialize in producing high-quality packaging for tobacco products, serving prestigious clients such as PMI, JTI, and British American Tobacco.

We are currently looking for a Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing success!

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Manage recruitment, training, development, and performance evaluation of the department team. Identify and implement suitable training programs to enhance employee skills.
• Warehouse Management: Optimize inventory processes and reduce storage costs while ensuring effective materials handling.
• Procurement Operations: Oversee the timely procurement of goods and services, ensuring high quality and cost efficiency.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customs authorities, suppliers, and third-party stakeholders. Conduct tenders and manage supplier contracts effectively.
• Quality & Audits: Address quality claims, organize supplier audits, and uphold standards of excellence.
• Documentation & Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate data entry in production systems and prepare necessary reports for management.
• Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in company-wide improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.

Qualifications:

• Higher education and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role within an international company.
• Strong understanding of procurement procedures, including supplier negotiations and sourcing strategies.
• Knowledge of documentation processes related to procurement, including cash and non-cash transactions.
• Familiarity with international trade principles and contract preparation.
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement-related software systems.
• English language skills (Advanced level).
• Excellent communication skills and experience working in cross-functional and international teams.
• Proven technical expertise in sourcing and procurement.
