We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented SCM Intern to join our dynamic Supply Chain Management Department. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of supply chain operations, procurement, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, possess strong analytical skills, and have a passion for working within a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Vendor management and procurement support:

• Assisting in the vendor selection process, including participating in the bidding process, evaluating proposals, and preparing vendor evaluation reports.
• Supporting the processing and analysis of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures.

Inventory management and reporting:

• Tracking and monitoring stock levels, identifying potential shortages or overstock situations.
• Assisting in the preparation of reports related to production and inventory levels, contributing to effective inventory control.

Data analysis and reporting:

• Preparing reports and dashboards on procurement activities and supply chain management planning, utilizing data from various sources.
• Analyzing data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential risks within the supply chain.

Process Improvement Support:

• Supporting the SCM team in streamlining workflows and identifying opportunities for process optimization.
• Contributing to the documentation of SCM processes and procedures.

Candidate requirements:

• Current student in their final years or a graduate of higher education institutions (Bachelor’s/Master’s degree) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics & Operations Management, Industrial engineering, Business Administration, Economics or other related fields.
• Strong analytical thinking and a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with pivot tables, VLOOKUP functions, and basic formulas.
• Knowledge of Power BI and Power Query is a plus.
• Understanding of procurement or supply chain workflows is highly desirable.
• Willingness to learn and a proactive approach to tasks.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• English language proficiency at a B1(Intermediate) level.
