Position: Manager/ Senior Manager Credit Portfolio Division, Risk Governance Department

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participation in the risk management P&P development, risk appetite strategy and determination of risk appetite levels
• Preparation and submission to authorized bodies of the Bank and Head Office credit portfolio and risk appetite reports
• Preparation and submission of regulatory reports (K3, Credit Register)
• Calculation of ECL in line with IFRS 9 and Regulatory rules
• Credit stress testing
• Participation in the issuance of external audit reports (credit portfolio disclosures),
• Preparation of credit portfolio reporting including the regulatory ones

REQUIREMENTS:

• English at advanced or at least upper-intermediate level
• Proficiency in office applications (MS Office)
• Knowledge of IFRS 9 and the credit risk provisioning process, internal and regulatory reporting
• Knowledge of Kazakh banking legislation, Regulator’s rules
• Knowledge of accounting essentials and financial analysis
• Higher education in economics / finance
• Work experience - at least 3 years' experience in risk management
• Practical experience in developing and implementing risk strategies, risk management and corporate governance policies and procedures
• Strategic planning and decision-making skills
• Additional certifications in risk management (FRM, PRM, CFA, or similar) are an advantage
• Knowledge of regulatory principles and requirements (the AFR, Basel, etc.) are an advantage
• Ability to work with quantitative analysis tools (stress testing, scenario analysis) are an advantage
