We are looking for a Valuation Specialist to join our Audit Department in Almaty. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an interest in valuation, financial reporting, and audit support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:

• Review client valuation reports for methodological soundness, assumptions, and compliance with accounting standards.
• Support audit teams on fair value measurements, impairment tests, and valuation of financial instruments.
• Analyze financial data and valuation inputs (e.g. forecasts, discount rates, multiples) for accuracy and consistency.
• Assess market data and assumptions used in client models, including benchmarking and cost of capital.
• Validate client-built financial models against IFRS and valuation best practices.
• Prepare audit documentation to support valuation-related conclusions and ensure proper audit trail.

You’re the perfect match for this role if you:

• Have a degree from a leading Kazakhstan or international university in finance.
• Have a solid understanding of corporate finance, banking and valuation methods.Possess experience in audit, transaction support, or corporate finance (an advantage).
• Are pursuing or have obtained CFA (a plus).
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills, including numeracy, data structuring, and advanced research abilities.
• Exhibit excellent writing and presentation skills for effective communication.
• Are a fast learner, team player, and possess strong communication skills.
• Have fluent English skills (both written and spoken) for communication with clients and colleagues.
