• Position Summary:

  The Wireless Technical Director is responsible for the strategic planning, design, deployment, and optimization of wireless technologies across the organization’s network. This role provides leadership to engineering and operations teams, oversees vendor partnerships, and ensures wireless infrastructure aligns with business goals and industry standards.

  Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and lead the wireless technology strategy (e.g., 4G/5G, LTE, Wi-Fi, IoT).

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align wireless initiatives with business objectives.

  • Guide R&D, innovation, and roadmap development for wireless solutions.

• Network Planning & Design

  • Oversee the architecture, planning, and rollout of wireless networks.

  • Evaluate and sеlесttechnologies, tools, and vendors for wireless deployment.

  • Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of the wireless infrastructure.

• Operations & Optimization

  • Manage performance monitoring, fault management, and optimization of wireless systems.

  • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex wireless network issues.

  • Implement automation and efficiency improvements in wireless operations.

• Team Management

  • Lead and mentor cross-functional technical teams (RF, Core, Transport, Field).

  • Define performance metrics and ensure technical staff development and training.

• Vendor and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as primary technical point of contact for wireless vendors and partners.

  • Review and approve vendor proposals, designs, and SLAs.

• Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure wireless operations comply with national regulatory frameworks (e.g., spectrum use, safety).

  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

• 10+ years of experience in wireless technologies, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.

• Deep expertise in LTE, 5G NR, RAN, RF design, and wireless core network architecture.

• Experience with wireless network management tools and OSS/BSS platforms.

• Strong project management and budgeting skills.

• Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Open RAN, private 5G, or enterprise wireless solutions.

• Familiarity with regulatory and spectrum management policies.

• Vendor-side experience or operator-side leadership.
