We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Supervisor to join our Finance team in a dynamic pharmaceutical environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, supporting tax audits, preparing tax filings, and providing support on various tax-related matters across the organization. This is an individual contributor role with a strong focus on operational excellence and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of all tax returns (e.g. corporate income tax, VAT, WHT, property tax, etc.) in accordance with local regulations.
Support the preparation and review of tax provisions in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS.
Liaise with external advisors and tax authorities on tax audits, inquiries, and rulings.
Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess the potential impact on the company.
Support transfer pricing compliance, including documentation and intercompany transaction reviews.
Assist with tax reporting during month-end and year-end closings.
Collaborate with accounting, legal, supply chain, and other departments to ensure tax compliance in business processes.
Participate in tax planning initiatives and ad-hoc tax projects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A tax or accounting certification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, ADIT) is a plus.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in tax, preferably in a multinational or pharmaceutical company or a Big 4 firm.
Solid knowledge of local tax legislation and international tax principles.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and tax reporting tools.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
