As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our solutions, building scalable features, and delivering technology that serves tens of thousands of users daily.

Role Description:

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer / Tech Lead to join our team and lead the development of user-facing features across our digital products in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of frontend solutions using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or similar).
• Set coding standards, perform code reviews, and ensure best practices across the frontend team.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level frontend developers.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement clean and intuitive user experiences.
• Work with backend teams to define APIs and ensure smooth data integration.
• Drive technical innovation and continuous improvement across frontend technologies and development processes.
• Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and accessibility across all platforms and devices.
• Take ownership of frontend project timelines, technical decisions, and deliverables.
• Stay current with industry trends and evaluate new technologies for adoption.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
• 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership or team lead role.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Expertise in at least one modern frontend framework/library: React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Deep understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization. • Familiarity with modern frontend tooling (Webpack, Vite, Babel, ESLint, Prettier, etc.).
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and integration with backend systems.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab).
• Experience writing unit and integration tests (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills: • Experience with cryptographic concepts such as:
• Digital signatures
• Key exchange protocols (e.g., Diffie-Hellman)
• End-to-end encryption
• Prior work with regulated industries (finance, healthcare, govtech) is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with frontend implementation of secure storage (e.g., Web Crypto API, secure cookies, IndexedDB).
• Experience with cloud-based testing tools (e.g., BrowserStack, LambdaTest).
