Senior Civil/Structural Engineer

Wood (trading locally as WOOD KSS LLP) is currently recruiting for Senior Civil/Structural Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.

Responsibilities:

• Applies Safety in Design Requirements as per clients company and Kazakh Standards and codes/ Eurocodes
• Performs computer aided and manual calculations for steel and concrete structures as well as concrete foundations
• Prepares Calculation Reports including steel connection design and concrete reinforcement design as per Kazakh codes and standards
• Provides designers with sketches and guides them through detailing of structures
• Checks Material Take-offs (MTO) prepared by designers

Skills / Qualifications:

• Engineering degree in related field
• Experience in their discipline for no less than 3 Years
• Proficient user of relevant software and calculation templates
• Professional level of knowledge of applicable codes and standards
• Experience in developing design documentation in accordance with RoK regulatory documents
• Experience on projects within EPC contract (Engineering, Supply and Construction)
