Senior AI Computing (Ascend) Solution Architect

We are looking for a results-driven, Russian-speaking AI Computing Solution Architect to drive the growth of Huawei Ascend AI computing solutions across Central Asia and South Caucasus.

This role is focused on selling AI computing infrastructure (Ascend-based solutions), with Large Models (LLM) and industry AI applications as key enablers to create customer demand and accelerate project landing.

The ideal candidate should be able to connect AI scenarios → computing power demand → solution design → deal closure, and work with partners to ensure successful implementation.

• 1. 1. Key Responsibilities
• Drive pre-sales and solution selling of:
  • Huawei Ascend AI computing (GPU-like) solutions
  • AI servers, clusters, and intelligent computing centers
• Design end-to-end AI computing solutions, including:
  • AI infrastructure (compute, storage, networking)
  • AI platforms and toolchains (training & inference)
  • Large model (LLM) deployment as a business driver
• Identify and expand AI computing opportunities by:
  • Linking industry scenarios (Gov, Finance, Telecom) with compute demand
  • Promoting Intelligent Computing Centers / AI Data Centers
• Work with ISV and AI partners to:
  • Adapt and deploy large models on Ascend platform
  • Build industry-specific AI solutions
• Lead POC and pilot projects, especially:
  • LLM on Ascend adaptation
  • AI workload benchmarking and performance validation
• Support RFP/RFQ, solution design, and competitive positioning
• Deliver customer workshops and executive-level presentations
• Provide regional technical support across Central Asia & South Caucasus

• 1. 1. Qualifications & Requirements
• Language:
  • Fluent in Russian (mandatory)
  • English working proficiency

• 1. 1. Experience
• Proven experience in:
  • AI computing / server / storage pre-sales OR
  • AI infrastructure / data center solutions
• Experience in customer-facing roles with deal ownership
• Hands-on involvement in POC / solution landing is highly preferred

• 1. 1. Technical Skills (Core Focus: Compute Sales)
• Strong understanding of:
  • AI computing architecture (GPU / AI accelerators / clusters)
  • Data center infrastructure (compute, storage, networking)
• Familiar with:
  • AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
  • Large model (LLM) basics (training, fine-tuning, inference)
    
• Understanding of:
  • Virtualization / containers (Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Databases and data platforms

• 1. 1. AI & Large Model (Supporting Capability)
• Ability to:
  • Use LLM and AI use cases to drive computing demand
  • Support model adaptation and deployment discussions
• Experience with:
  • LLM frameworks or inference engines is a plus
• Experience with Ascend ecosystem is a strong advantage

• 1. 1. Industry Experience (Preferred)
• Experience in:
  • Government / national-level AI projects
  • Intelligent Computing Centers / AI clusters
  • Industry digital transformation (Finance, Gov, Telecom)

• 1. 1. Location & Mobility
• Based in Tashkent or Almaty
• Frequent travel across:
  • Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan)
  • South Caucasus (Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia)

• Strong sales-oriented mindset (not purely technical)
• Ability to translate AI scenarios into computing demand
• Capable of driving projects from opportunity → POC → deal closure
• Strong ownership and execution
