EZ SOLUTIONS AGENCY – an event management company – is seeking Project Coordinator to support the Agency’s “Administering American spaces and Makerspaces (ASMS)” project activities, and also other company’s projects mostly in development area. Project Coordinator will be responsible for overall coordination and project management of a range of activities to run “Administering ASMS” project and other development and educational projects funded by EZS clients (mostly international donor and development organizations). This is a full-time Almaty-based position.

The Project Coordinator will assume the following key roles and responsibilities:

• act as the primary liaison between EZS, U.S. Mission, U.S. Mission’s sponsors, such as Chevron and other companies, ASMS staff in various cities, as well as the primary coordinator of the “Administering American spaces and Makerspaces” project and network;
• coordinate all aspects of the planning American Spaces/ Makerspaces training and other activities and operation of the American Spaces/ Makerspaces;
• maintain internal communication between EZS, U.S. Mission and all involved stakeholders;
• coordinate external communications with the ASMS Network and media;
• supervise all issues related to ongoing smooth operation of the ASMS facilities, including office spaces, equipment, furniture, etc.
• in coordination with ASMS Directors and MS Coordinators participate in developing training and event plans, relevant and corresponding to the U.S. Mission strategic plan and implementation plan for ASMS development in Kazakhstan and Central Asia;
• prepare quarterly narrative and performance monitoring reports and supervise preparation of quarterly financial reports to the U.S. Mission in accordance with the grаntagreement requirements;
• supervise and administer payments for various ASMS costs, in coordination with ASMS staff and EZS accounting office;
• manage and implement other training and educational projects (training programs, seminar, conferences, etc.) for other EZS clients, including, but not limited to:
  • prepare project budgets for clients based on their technical requests
  • perform all tasks required for successful organization of the project, including invitation of the project participants, negotiating with the event venue, coordinating transportation arrangements, working with outside vendors on supplying all required products and services for successful implementation of the project
  • preparing financial reports for EZS accounting and client.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Business, Social Science, Communications or a relevant discipline;
• Prior work experience: minimum of three years of progressively responsible professional experience in project management with an international organization or project, preferably funded by US Government;
• Job knowledge: demonstrated ability in project management, strong communication skills;
• Experience managing grants or contracts is desired;
• Excellent analytical and writing skills and the ability to summarize disparate information in a clear and concise manner;
• Ability to work independently to efficiently meet deadlines;
• Fluency in English and Russian, Kazakh will be an advantage
