KT&G Global Kazakhstan is looking for Procurement Specialist for Supply Chain Management Team in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Job responsibilities

Be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end procurement activities, with a focus on conducting bidding processes, selecting qualified vendors, and performing procurement analysis. The candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a understanding of procurement practices, and the ability to ensure cost-effective and timely sourcing of goods and services.

Purchasing:

• Lead and manage the bidding process, including preparation of RFQs/RFPs, bid evaluations in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Identify, evaluate, and sеlесtvendors based on quality, cost, service, and compliance and other criteria.
• Conduct supplier due diligence, capability assessments, and performance evaluations.
• Perform in-depth procurement and cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure optimal sourcing strategies.
• Collaborate with all the departments to gather requirements and ensure procurement aligns with project timelines and quality expectations.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with selected suppliers to ensure the best value for the organization.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and reports to support audits and internal reviews.
• Track market trends and pricing to inform strategic sourcing decisions.
• Ensure compliance with all company procurement policies and applicable regulations.

Reporting:
Bidding reports: Analysis of bidding process and bid winner justification and selection criteria.

Vendor assessment report: bidding statuses, contract assessments (cost, payment terms, pricing, consistency with procurement rules), accuracy.

Vendor evaluation report: assessments of vendor’s performance quality based in key criteria.

Additional Skills

• Kazakh and Russian languages - Fluent level; English language - at least Intermediate level;
• Proficiency in MS office programs;
• SAP is a plus.

Work Schedule
Monday – Friday, 08:30 AM to 5:30 PM (full-time).
