Functional responsibilities

• Discusses the proposed development strategy of the IMS in the areas and specialties of training of the department at meetings of the department and submits it to the faculty council.

• Strengthens external relations with employers, partner educational and scientific institutions of the relevant specialty.

• Forms the Academic calendar of the corresponding specialties of the department

• Approves the work plan of the department and individual work plans of teachers of the department

• In order to ensure the high quality of the educational process, can identify pedagogical methods and teaching aids, and make the choice and use of modern teaching aids in the classroom.

• Part time teaching

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Education: PhD holder

• Excellent oral and written skills of the Kazakh, English and Russian languages are required

• Knowledge of the basics of administrative law and labor legislation

• Having a portfolio of international, peer-reviewed publications (preferably Scopus or WoS)

Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in a reputable higher educational institution

• Experience as a principal investigator or research team member in national or international research projects would be preferable

Skills:

• Conducting independent research using qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Proven ability to take responsibility for actions, projects, and people

• Commitment to principles, values, and ethical standards

• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

• High level of responsibility, integrity, and initiative

• Ability to work effectively both independently and in teams, with a focus on long-term objectives
