Dear all, an International FMCG (food) company is looking for Country Manager, area of responsibility Kazakhstan.
A Country Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all operations within a country. The main goal is to drive growth and profitability by implementing effective strategies and managing a team of professionals.
Key responsibilities of a Country Manager KZT:
1. Strategic planning: Developing and implementing business strategies to achieve company objectives and drive growth in the market. This includes analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities, and setting sales targets.
2. Sales and marketing: Leading the sales teams to develop and execute effective strategies to promote products and increase market share. This involves developing pricing strategies, managing distribution channels, and monitoring competitor activities.
3. Team management: Recruiting, training, and managing a team of professionals to ensure they have the skills and resources necessary to meet targets. This includes setting performance goals, providing feedback, and fostering a positive work environment.
4. Financial management: Monitoring and managing the financial performance of the country or region, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. This involves analyzing financial data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing measures to optimize profitability.
5. Relationship management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, distributors, and government agencies. This includes negotiating contracts, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
6. Market analysis: Conducting market research to identify consumer preferences, market trends, and competitive landscape. This information is used to develop effective marketing strategies and product positioning.
7. Supply chain management: Ensuring efficient supply chain operations by coordinating with suppliers, distributors, and logistics providers. This involves monitoring inventory levels, optimizing distribution networks, and minimizing costs.
8. Reporting and analysis: Providing regular reports to senior management on the country's performance, market trends, and competitor activities. This includes analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, and making recommendations for future actions.
Overall, a Country Manager in our company plays a crucial role in driving business growth, managing operations, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a specific country or region.
What we expect:
• proven experience in commercial management within a large organization, delivering tangible results over a minimum period of three years;
• prior work experience in the FMCG industry or related fields is essential;
• proficiency in formulating and executing business strategies;
• proficiency in effectively coordinating complex processes;
• an analytical mindset and a data-driven approach to decision-making;
• knowledge of fundamental sales, financial, product, and marketing metrics;
• a willingness to immerse oneself in unfamiliar area and investigate new challenges;
• fluency in English language;
• willingness to travel for business purposes.
