Contracts Engineer

Key responsibilities:

• Draft and review contracts, subcontracts, and amendments
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, conditions, and applicable laws
• Maintain accurate records of all contractual correspondence and documentation
• Assist in preparation of tender documents, bid evaluations, and contract award recommendations
• Support procurement teams in aligning supplier agreements with project requirements
• Identify potential contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies
• Manage claims, variations, and disputes in coordination with legal and project teams
• Prepare documentation for arbitration or dispute resolution when required
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to ensure contractual obligations are met
• Monitor contractor performance against scope, schedule, and quality requirements
• Support project reporting by providing contractual and commercial insights
• Track contract budgets, payments, and financial commitments
• Ensure compliance with insurance, bonding, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of similar experience in contract administration within large-scale infrastructure or energy projects
• Preferable engineering background
• Fluent in English and Russian
• Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and international contract standards
• Proven experience in contract administration within large-scale infrastructure or energy projects.
• Excellent, communication, and analytical skills.
