Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Netcracker is a leader in cloud solution development for OSS and BSS domains. All teams work in Agile environment with modern cloud technologies. As part of Cloud development group, we need a strong leader to:

• Manage, drive and coordinate work of a team that develops cloud applications.
• Develop team strengths and improve weaknesses.
• Identify team goals and evaluate team progress.
• Organize team initiatives.
• Guide team to follow Agile principles.
• Participate in architectural and customer facing sessions.
• Be responsible for technical excellence of the solution.
• Provide consultancy to Product teams and customers
• Work closely with Product Owners to build, plan and execute team’s roadmap.
• Participate in development activities.

Experience and Requirements (we would expect 60/70% experience from this list)

• 2+ year of experience in leading of development team.
• Understanding of Agile methodology
• Be familiar with IaaS and PaaS architecture;
• Good understanding of cloud solution architectural patterns (micro-service architecture, high availability, scalability, etc.)
• Be familiar with Kubernetes architecture and design/architecture patterns
• Knowledge and experience in development applications on top of Kubernetes and Openshift;
• Knowledge and experience in management of containerized applications: Openshift, Kubernetes, Docker, public kubernetes engines (Azure, Google, AWS).
• Understanding of Continuous Delivery and DevOps methods;
• Experience with one of the programming languages: Golang, Python, Java.

Will be of advantage to have any of the following competences:

• Knowledge of Operator framework
• Knowledge of different operational toolset (Prometheus, Grafana, AlertManager, Loki, Graylog, Zabbix, Jaeger)
• Knowledge of cloud storage file systems (CEPH, GlusterFS, S3 compatible Storage);
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL database
• Knowledge of Kafka and streaming platforms
• Knowledge of basic managed services of public provider (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure Cloud)
• Understanding of network protocols
