Our Client, an international company, is looking for Chief Accountant/Finance Controller to join its team in Kazakhstan.

Key Responsibility Areas:
- Oversee finance team and accounting shared services operations;
- Review accounting transactions and ensure expenses are properly posted. Ensures primary documents are filed properly according to local laws;
- Reviews the tax and government reports such as reports to National Banks and Statistical reports. Ensure the primary documents, and tax registers prepared by outsourced accounting team are complete and complied with according to tax and local laws. Makes sure on timely submission and payment of tax and other related reports;
- Prepares and reviews policies and procedures according to internal, accounting and tax policies;
- Manages bank and cash flow operations of the company;
- Prepares management reports and other adhoc reports required by head office in Dubai;
- Reviews contracts/agreements entered by the company as well as coordinates legal compliances;
- Liaise with legal, auditors and government agencies;
- Prepares budget/forecast reports;
- Leads 1C automation and process improvements;
- Reports to Finance Head Office in Dubai.
Requirements:
-
5 years Accounting work experience with at least 3 years in a similar role;

Experience in managing shared accounting services;

University degree in Accounting, CPA/CMA/CA;

Experience in 1C 8.3 Accounting (ЗУП and УТ);
-
Preferred with experience working in multinational corporations and outside Kazakhstan;

Knowledgeable in tax, IFRS and Kazakshtan accounting, budgeting and financial statements;

Advanced Microsoft Office user, especially MS Excel;

Russian (fluent), English (upper-intermediate); Kazakh (upper-intermediate);
- Excellent communication skills and negotiation skills (also in English);
- Can handle pressure, flexible, and can work with limited supervision;
- Good ability to analyze complex problems and develop alternative solutions;
- Excellent ability to plan, organize and manage multiple projects and set priorities.
