We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Licensing Manager to join our team. You will be a part of Portfolio and Business Development department at Polpharma Santo, responsible for search of products, external partners, establishing collaboration, negotiating contracts and arranging deals for all Central Asian region. This role requires excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills. Responsibilities:- Search, identify and evaluate potential in-licensing opportunities worldwide in the pharmaceutical industry in line with Company’s strategy in Central Asia
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external companies to source potential partnership opportunities.
- Conduct competitive intelligence, and due diligence to assess the potential value and risks associated with each licensing opportunity.
- Negotiate commercial terms with partners.
- Draft and negotiate agreements, including new contracts and amendments.
- Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Market Access, RnD, Legal, and Finance, to manage the entire project lifecycle of in-licensing initiatives.
- Support the launch of new products by coordinating activities with external partners.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and improve Company’s portfolio through in-licensing activities.
- Monitor regulatory changes, market trends, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Manage and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during business development activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s or University Degree. MBA and/or legal degree is a plus.
- At least 2-5 years of experience working within a pharmaceutical organisation.
- Past involvement in licensing or business development, track record of successful deals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to think strategically and develop long-term business plans.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the pharma industry.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs.
