Andersen is looking for an Android Developer (Kotlin) in Almaty for a project with a major Kazakhstan bank. The role involves developing a mobile banking app for business clients with features like payments and account management.

The customer is one of Kazakhstan’s leading commercial banks. Serving over 3 million retail and corporate clients, it operates a nationwide network of branches and service outlets. The bank offers a comprehensive portfolio of financial services, including loans, cards, deposits, investment solutions, and digital banking tools.

The project is focused on developing modules for a new mobile banking application for business clients. It aims to deliver a modern, user-friendly platform that supports key services such as account management, payments, and transaction tracking. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance digital banking experiences for corporate users.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and enhancing new and existing products.
• Optimizing application performance.
• Interacting with external APIs.
• Testing and documenting code.
• Working on tasks as a team.
• Learning new technologies and improving personal knowledge.
• Participating in all team activities.
• Adhering to documented processes.

Must-haves:

• Experience as an Android Developer for 3+ years.
• Advanced knowledge of Kotlin: ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Experience with Android: deep understanding of the platform, including architecture, lifecycle, and core components.
• Asynchronous programming: strong proficiency with coroutines and understanding of async principles.
• Experience working with MVI and MVVM architectures.
• Knowledge and practical application of key design patterns.
• Level of English – from Intermediate and above.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience working in fintech companies.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose.
