• Estimated the causal effect of high interest rates on borrower default probability using Propensity Score
Matching (PSM) on 2M+ LendingClub loans (2007 –2018)
• Found above -median -rate borrowers were 2.6x more likely to default (15.3 pp absolute difference) , and
discussed policy implications for Kazakhstan's microfinance regulation
China's WTO Accession & Export Performance | ECON 336: Programming for Economists Apr 2025
• Estimated $15.8B post -accession export increase using Difference -in-Differences (DiD) model with two -
way fixed effects, pre -trend testing, and placebo tests in Py thon
