Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop the BirID platform, ensuring robust identity management, authentication, authorization, and user profile services across the ecosystem.
• Design and implement Single Sign-On (SSO) and federated identity capabilities across internal and third-party services.
• Build flexible and secure mechanisms for consent management, data sharing permissions, and user privacy controls.
• Ensure compliance with international standards on data protection (GDPR, local laws) and strong security practices.
• Lead a cross-functional engineering team, promoting best practices in software engineering, DevOps, and security engineering.
• Define and implement API-based integrations for seamless embedding of identity services into e-commerce, fintech, banking, mobility, and other verticals.
• Oversee system reliability, high availability, and performance, ensuring real-time authentication and profile management at scale.
• Collaborate closely with the Business BirID Tribe to align technical capabilities with customer journey goals.
• Choose and manage the right technology stack, ensuring the platform's scalability, maintainability, and future readiness.
• Monitor system performance, proactively address bottlenecks, and ensure the highest system security and uptime levels.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (7+ years) in leading engineering teams, with a strong focus on building in-house identity, authentication, or access management platforms.
• Deep expertise in authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML), identity federation, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
• Hands-on experience with technologies such as Keycloak, OAuth servers, Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of SDK, API development, token-based authentication, and secure session management.
• Experience in building admin panel tools for dynamic role and access control management.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage engineering teams, drive architectural excellence, and align technical solutions with business needs.
• Experience in fintech, banking, e-commerce, or digital ecosystems is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of security, compliance, privacy, and fraud prevention in identity and access management systems.
