Key Responsibilities:

Driving & establishing new growth levers through market insights. Understand the strategic priority for the business, scout for opportunities to launch new products / therapies that are aligned to our Spaces and Strategy for CISК markets.

Portfolio management:

  • Create steady pipeline of products in line with strategy plan, TA / Growth strategy objectives;
  • Participate in EM Apex / EU Apex / Monthly Portfolio meetings to represent interests of CIS Markets. Attend Portfolio evaluation sessions organized by CoE, Global Medical Affairs, EM Portfolio Lead, to gather ideas for portfolio development;
  • Annual filings plan capacity clearance process support and co-ordination from Portfolio side;
  • Drive product selection across various buckets;
  • Monitor monthly Plan vs Actual (for in-house and in-licensed filings) and Circulate with Key Stakeholders for decision / intervention. Identify bottlenecks and drive processes to improve/impact overall product filings till registration;
  • Assess risks, design strategy for risk mitigation for a balanced/winning portfolio for each market;
  • Drive the Strategy Deployment Process (SDP) for CIS Portfolio for defined region and manage the Ideation to Commercialization roadmap. Take ownership for portfolio related action items from Product Management Process (PMP) & Multi-Year Growth Plans (MYGP) for our brands.
  • Strat planning exercise support, new Strat plan SKUs creation, consolidation of pipeline forecast based on BCs, provided by Marketing team;
  • Market Analysis and New product evaluation/ideation:

  • Continuous analysis of market trends for each brand and TA;
  • Analysis of market data and proposing corrections to existing strategies accordingly;
  • Lead market attractiveness analysis to understand markets, TAs or INNs to launch;
  • Support in Identifying gaps in existing TAs and opportunities for plugging gaps;
  • Lead New Product Ideation in order to increase market share in existing TAs/Create new niche in a new TA;
  • Leading new product evaluation/ rationality of concepts and medical aspects;
  • Support in market segment and the size determination;
  • Support in competitive environment definition;
  • Support in target audience and key factors promoting purchase definition;
  • KOL expert council’s management for potential prospective portfolio:

  • Working together with Medico-marketing Manager and respective brand / marketing manager, create expert councils with the participation of key opinion leaders in various therapeutic areas with the participation of opinion leaders, clinical pharmacologists, and other specialists in the therapeutic field;
  • Organize individual or group discussions with members of the expert council to better understand the problem, the product's relevance to current scientific / clinical data and to identify further scientific / clinical and product development in order to obtain a suitable and necessary product on the market;
  • Organize interaction with doctors on a long-term or short-term basis (depending on the product / project), involving discussion of prospects for product / project development.
  • Product life cycle management:

  • Review product journey to ensure product strategy execution as per plan;
  • Drive therapy wise across cross-functional team workshops, key opinion leader surveys, idea generation and screening through countries for consolidated commercial potential of proposed Line Extensions / Additional indication / Beyond the pill innovation;
  • Review and validate business cases for new line extensions;
  • Plan & monitor of Cost Improvement Programs to ensure cost leadership requirements to sustain business.
  • Collaboration with Marketing department:

  • Support in initial, regular and launch business case preparation, providing all product details such as COGs, MOQ, Product description, medical evaluation assessed by Medico-marketing Manager, COE Medical. Participation in launch plan development.

Requirements:

  • Higher education (Healthcare, Management and Administration, International Relations and related fields);
  • At least 3 years of experience in portfolio management or portfolio lead's position in marketing division of top-ranked, mostly multinational, companies, which perform their activities in line with norms of ethical promotion;
  • Deep knowledge of regional pharmaceutical market, of its conditions/environment, features and specificity, general information in medical and pharmaceutical sectors;
  • Good knowledge of structure of healthcare facilities, pharmacies and hospitals;
  • Knowledge of pharmacological and physiological details in operating TAs and brands;
  • Understanding of principles of product promotion to healthcare specialists;
  • Understanding of principles of distribution and availability of medical products;
  • Deep understanding of Marketing Strategy and Concepts of Marketing in OTC and Rx Business;
  • Deep updated knowledge of current marketing trends and experience in their implementation;
  • Knowledge and experience of different marketing techniques, concepts and tools;
  • Relationship management techniques for KOLs management etc;
  • Excellent analytical skills and strategic brand management competencies;
  • Basic business finance knowledge and understanding;
  • Very high creativity and innovation skills and their implementation in promotion;
  • Knowledge of languages: Ukrainian, Russian, English – fluent;
  • Computer knowledge: Proficient computer skills and ability to work with MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint and Word);
  • Driver license B category.
