The functional expert plays a vital role in providing business knowledge and support. This individual is responsible for a specific business process and its related system, focusing on training and assisting end users within their department or functional area. As a dedicated resource, their duties include:

• Ensuring the delivery of business benefits.
• Driving continuous improvement and overseeing system upgrades.
• Educating the user community and maintaining business process and training documentation.
• Serving as the primary liaison with the Global Template team for business changes.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous business process improvements.
• Build cross-functional area knowledge for process overlap and impact assessment.
• Lead user testing and planning activities, ensuring quick issue resolution.
• Provide first-level functional support and root cause analysis for functional Key Users and End-users.
• Organize unit user groups for best practice sharing and training.
• Facilitate all business process training and system functional training for end users.
• Manage training documentation and ensure accuracy in the central document repository.
• Represent the unit for functional area contacts with regional user groups.
• Serve as the main point of contact for the Mars IS support teams.

• Expert in functional area with high systems literacy.
• Strong process development and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
• Ability to work in an international context and manage tasks effectively.

Key Experiences:

• 3-5 years of business experience.
• Hands-on functional area experience, preferably in FMCG industry.
• Business analysis and integration experience.
• BS/BA Degree in business, industrial engineering, or supply chain management.
