About the Role
Our client, a leading international freight-forwarding company, is seeking a seasoned Sales Manager/BDM to drive growth in their railway logistics division. You will spearhead business development efforts for raw-material cargo transportation, building strong relationships with key industry players and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Champion and sell railway logistics solutions, with a focus on raw-material cargo transport
Prospect and engage exporters and importers operating to/from Kazakhstan who require end-to-end logistics support
Cultivate and manage relationships with C-level and senior decision-makers to uncover new business opportunities
Lead negotiations, craft bespoke commercial proposals, and close contracts aligned to client requirements
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge
Collaborate with operations teams to guarantee seamless execution of logistics services
Oversee contract performance and provide proactive post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Economics, Business Management, or a related discipline
Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience within the logistics sector, ideally railway logistics
Deep knowledge of Kazakhstan’s railway infrastructure and international freight processes
Outstanding negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
Proven track record of identifying and developing long-term business partnerships
Proactive, goal-oriented mindset with a passion for driving results
Full professional proficiency in Russian and English
