Role Overview

We are looking for a Middle+ Python Backend Engineer with a strong background in FastAPI and cloud-native backend development. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining backend services that power our core AI and FinTech products. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with distributed systems, containerized deployments, and event-driven architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend APIs and microservices using FastAPI;
• Integrate with internal and external services via REST and message brokers (Kafka);
• Develop AI based services to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable deployments;
• Optimize database queries and design efficient schemas (PostgreSQL, ClickHouse);
• Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions;
• Collaborate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and product design sessions;
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, code quality standards, and automation processes

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 2–3 years of backend engineering with Python, preferably with FastAPI in production systems;
• Optional: experience in FinTech and/or with ML model–driven products;
• Education: bachelor’s degree (or higher) in STEM (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.);
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, micro services, and asynchronous programming;
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and Apache Kafka (Kraft 3.9+);
• Experience with relational and analytical databases (PostgreSQL, ClickHouse);
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Version control and CI/CD expertise (GitLab, SonarQube).
• Knowledge of secure secret management (Azure Key Vault).

• Infrastructure & Tools: kubernetes (K8s) + Vector, GitLab, SonarQube, Azure Key Vault, Cloud Container Registry;
• Data & Messaging: kafka (KRaft 3.9+), ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Blob Storage (ADLS/default);
• Workflow & Monitoring: airflow, grafana

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking;
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first, asynchronous team;
• Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
