We are looking for an experienced System / Function Owner Engineer with strong automotive background.
The Functional Owner holds full end-to-end responsibility for a vehicle/system function from target definition through validation and final release approval.

Important
We are specifically looking for someone with strong technical background in electrical engineering / system engineering and understanding automotive system development processes

Key Responsibilities:
• Define scope, objectives & priorities of the function
• Own and structure system requirements (clear, testable, traceable)
• Manage requirement lifecycle and change control
• Ensure traceability (Requirement → Test → Result)
• Define validation & acceptance strategy at system level
• Coordinate Development, Testing, Suppliers, Quality & Legal
• Drive readiness for release (risk management, escalations, status transparency)

We are looking for:
• Proven experience in automotive industry (mandatory)
• Strong background in engineering & system validation
• Understanding of system architecture, interfaces & communication protocols
• Experience working within V-model or similar development frameworks
• Experience with supplier coordination and interface management
• Excellent English (daily communication with German HQ), German strong plus
