About the job
We’re looking for a Junior–Middle QA/QC Engineer (Game Tester) to help get Corepunk ready for release.

Building an MMO is challenging and incredibly fun. We seek motivated gamers with basic to intermediate testing experience who love games (especially MMO, LoL, Dota), understand game mechanics, and enjoy hunting down and describing bugs.

Responsibilities

• Execute test cases, feature checks, smoke tests
• Compile QA reports based on test results
• Reproduce, document, and prioritize bugs in a tracker (Jira or similar)
• Participate in regressions and help keep builds stable
• Collaborate with QA and production teams; escalate critical issues
• Contribute to creating and maintaining test cases and test suites

Requirements

• Basic understanding of QA processes and test design
• Confident PC and Windows user; familiarity with office tools (Google Suite / MS Office), Confluence, Jira or other trackers
• Gaming background in MMO, LoL, Dota or similar; understanding of game logic, mechanics, balance, and UX
• Attention to detail, responsibility, ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Conversational English (important for day-to-day communication in an international team)
• Start remote, with the option to transition to our Almaty office after some time

Nice to have

• Experience in game QA or shipped projects
• English proficiency
• Proactivity, structured approach, and a love for computer games
