Purpose of the Position:

Reporting their legal and tax-related obligations to the related units, carrying out the financial activities related to the country opening/closing and country stores with the aim of realizing all financial records and payment/collection processes in compliance with the legal legislation and company procedures.

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Primary Documentation Compliance: Ensure all primary documentation adheres to the accounting standards and legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
• Sales Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of sales (store, internet, and marketplace) across all systems (Excel, 1C, and internal platforms).
• E-commerce Transactions: Post bank transactions related to e-commerce activities.
• Cash Register Management: Account for the store's main cash registers, including verifying cash collections.
• Accounts Receivable: Control and reconcile accounts receivable specific to e-commerce.
• Accounts Payable: Manage accounts payable, which includes reconciling with counterparties, issuing powers of attorney, linking ESF (Electronic Invoices), confirming EAVR (Electronic Acts of Performed Work), and posting transactions.
• Inventory and Fixed Assets: Handle all accounting and related transactions for both inventory and fixed assets.
• Non-resident Transactions: Account for transactions involving non-residents.
• Expense Reports: Review and post employee expense reports.
• Reporting:
  • Prepare and submit statistical reports.
  • Provide landlords with monthly reports on store turnover.
  • Assist in the monthly closing process to prepare management reports.
  • Work with the e-commerce team to review and check related costs on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare monthly P&L reports for the e-commerce unit and other financial reports as required by headquarters (HQ).
• System and Ad-Hoc Support:
  • Report issues with the ERP system and act as a liaison between the e-commerce team, IT, and other relevant parties.
  • Fulfill ad-hoc requests and reports from the Chief Accountant and Financial Manager.

The Candidate We Are Looking For

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or Economy
• 3+ years of experience in accounting/finance
• Experience in International companies in the relevant position will be a plus
• Sound ERP knowledge - 1C 8.3
• Very good Excel skills
• Very good analytical skills
• Result oriented and have a positive attitude
