Ferrero Kazakhstan is seeking a talented Consumer Shopper Understanding Analyst to join our dynamic and international team. The role is to cover Central Asia and Caucasus region (CA&C)

Reporting directly to the CSU Manager, you will provide crucial consumer insights to the Marketing Department, supporting the business with valuable data and analysis.

As a Consumer Shopper Understanding Analyst, you will gather, analyze, and interpret findings to facilitate clear, insights-driven presentations. You will manage multiple projects, including qualitative and quantitative research studies and market tests, ensuring high quality and timely deliverables.

Together with the team, you will integrate insights from existing research and extrapolate data from multiple sources, including researches, trends, white papers, to create new compelling insights that nurture the strategy.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain regular market reports based on NielsenIQ data
  • Set up and conduct consumer research studies
  • Prepare market overviews and keep them updated
  • Support the implementation of advertising testing studies by defining the best methodological approach, designing the tests, collaborating with the vendor to prepare the research and deliver the results
  • Contribute to ad-hoc analysis requests for different business needs by reviewing briefs and suggesting the tools to answer business questions in the best way, analyzing available data, designing and running the studies if needed
  • Contribute to planning, manage and control CSU budget

Who we are looking for:

  • University degree in Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Business, Psychology, or a related field
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in Consumer Insights, Marketing or Market Research within a multinational company, ideally in the FMCG industry, or in a research agency
  • Familiar with common market research techniques (both qualitative and quantitative)
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret research findings and transform them into actionable recommendations, with an eye on global marketing strategies and local needs
  • Experience with NielsenIQ retail data is a plus
  • Fluent user of MS Office
  • Ability to effectively manage project lifecycles while collaborating successfully with multiple stakeholders at every stage
  • Team-player, able to collaborate effectively cross-functionally within an international and diverse team
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills
