Responsibilities:
Systematization, encouragement, coordination, and organization of active participation of university faculty in research grаntcompetitions;
Informing faculty about external and internal grаntopportunities;
Monitoring, coordination, and communication with external organizations on research grants, including negotiations;
Preparing analysis of applications for external grants, summarizing results, and providing support to researchers on application quality and compliance with competition requirements;
Organizing workshops and consultations on grаntapplications and funding opportunities;
Supporting and advising researchers on grants, competitions, and academic titles;
Planning and coordinating scientific events (conferences, seminars, competitions);
Systematization, publication, monitoring, and consolidation of the university’s internal grаntprocesses to support research and research centers;
Commercialization of research results, establishing collaborations with industry, and joint project development;
Preparing reports, analytical notes, and science development strategies;
Collecting, processing, and analyzing university research activity data;
Ensuring compliance with ethical standards of scientific research;
Participation in other departmental activities.
This is a fixed-term position to cover maternity leave (Сontract duration will be specified during the hiring process)
Requirements:
Higher or postgraduate education;
1–3 years of relevant work experience;
Advanced English proficiency (C1 level), with strong written communication in Kazakh, Russian, and English (Intermediate and above required);
Understanding of principles of research organization at universities (dissertation councils, journals, research projects, grants, publications);
Knowledge of publication requirements (Scopus, Web of Science, KOKSNVO, etc.).
Conditions:
Employment under the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, lunch break 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM;
