Job Summary:
Almaty International Airport is seeking the Business Development Specialist in Commercial Affairs who will be responsible for managing and driving all commercial deals and development projects with the airport. This role works closely with the Advertising team and the Rent & Real Estate team to maximize revenue opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and explore new business prospects. The position is dynamic and requires a proactive approach to involvement in all processes, including communication with existing and potential clients and customers, project management, and market analysis to identify growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements with clients and partners.
• Collaborate with the Advertising team to optimize advertising opportunities within the airport and attract new advertisers.
• Work with the Rent & Real Estate team to manage lease agreements, promote available spaces, and identify new rental opportunities.
• Engage with existing clients to maintain strong relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Identify and approach potential clients to expand the airport’s commercial portfolio.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for revenue growth.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and reports to support commercial initiatives and decision-making.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of ongoing commercial projects, recommending improvements where necessary.
• Actively participate in cross-departmental projects to align commercial strategies with the airport’s overall development plans.
• Ensure all commercial activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Higher education in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, commercial affairs, or related roles, preferably within the aviation, real estate, or advertising industries.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and contract management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
• Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluency in English and Kazakh or Russian (both written and spoken), Turkish will be an advantage
